With over 20 years of experience in real estate and construction, Founder and Principal Ryan Van Horn has successfully completed projects in nearly every market sector totaling in excess of 5,300,000 sf and $1,000,000,000, including over 2,000 multifamily units. Ryan leverages the diverse experience and knowledge gained on these projects to ensure that the expectations of clients and investors are continually exceeded. Ryan's experience began as a carpenter, and now includes construction management, site selection, due diligence, entitlements, ground up development, renovations, tenant improvements, leasing and property management. 

Ryan graduated from Arizona State University's Construction Engineering college in 2002 and has been living in Colorado since 2004. Ryan spent the first ten years of his professional career as a project manager with a national general contractor before transitioning into development in 2012. Ryan most recently spent 3 years with Loveland, CO based developer McWhinney before founding Van Horn Development in 2017. 

Simply put, Van Horn Development was started with the goal of creating and maximizing value for our partners, investors and clients. This goal is what drives our decisions and mandates that we continuously improve the way we develop and execute projects. We believe that value is maximized when creativity, collaboration, and thoughtful direction are present in all aspects of a project.
